20130829-172039.jpgA Minolta 16 MG-S came into my possession recently. It had a whole host of problems, most of which I have fixed with a little elbow grease. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get the meter to work properly. It never registers maximum current, even when I shine a flashlight directly into the photocell. In addition, when I increase the shutter speed by one stop, the metered reading increases the f-stop by a half stop. As a result, the meter is essentially useless. However, I have been able to get it to work as a fully manual camera (which is a shame, if you know how much engineering went into the autoexposure).
