I re-covered my Leica IIIa with a saddle tan composite leather covering after the original vulcanite fell apart in a puff of rust and dust. I typically don’t use cameras with any color (black vulcanite and chrome bodies for me, please!). However, I saw the Leica Hermes Special Edition video on Vimeo, and thought it looks simply perfect.
