Just watched the indie film “Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench”.  The movie starts with a couple (Guy and Madeline) who break up on a park bench, after Guy’s dalliance with another woman.  The story revolves around the life of the two persons post-breakup (hence the title).  Guy, a jazz trumpeter, plays in gigs throughout the movie, and they feature original music which are by themselves worth more than the ticket price (though strictly speaking, since I watched it off Netflix, I didn’t really pay anything).  Madeline, on the other hand, seems to struggle a little. The movie’s original, quirky, and people break out into musical numbers, and yet still manages to feel real.  It features many musicians in the Boston jazz scene.  Well-worth the 85 minutes.
