But I find that recently every photographer and his grandmother is conducting courses. This is especially true of street photographers. What I find strange is this – isn’t street photography about seeing the world through your own eyes?  Why do you need to be taught?  What can possibly justify course fees of more than 200 bucks?  Furthermore, many of these guys do not seem to have very good tips (based on what I read about online), but they sure know how to network (the same few photographers are always praising each other, creating a self-reinforcing trend).  It helps that they are bloggers, so they can leverage off their reader base.  I don’t know.  I just find the whole thing shady and unpalatable.
